Bewerbung EPA, wie lange?

Hallo Leute,

Ich habe mich beim EPA beworben und ich möchte gern wissen wie lange wird es ungefähr dauern bis man eine Antwort kriegt (entweder positiv oder negativ).

Danach gibt es ein erste Bewerbungsgespräch und dann ein zweite, stimmt's. Gleiche Frage, wie lange dauert das alles?

Sonst, falls ihr noch irgenwelche Hinweise oder Kommentare über die Bewerbung beim EPA habt, bin ich auch interessiert.

Why are you interested in working for EPO?
Did you apply for only one location or all?
How specialised you are?
What is your nationality?
How good are your languages?
What language did you fill your application in?


This questions determine how long will they "cook" your application.

From what I heard from one of the directors, the system works in that way, that when in certain area there is increased workload (i.e. applications), the directorate or joint cluster will inform "recrutment" that XYZ profile is needed and job applications will be scanned for matching profile. Depending on what you "offer" in your application/motivation letter they might discard you or have you in consideration for few months.

This all goes on at each site independantly, so if you applied for more, you may get thanks-but-no-thanks email from Munich, with note our application has been forwarded to Berlin and than same story again.

In practice it can be weeks/months before you hear from them or it can be days. Between first and second interview shouldnt be more than 6 weeks and after second interview another 6 weeks before you get an offer.

If you make it to the second interview, and you are reasonably healthy, psychiclly balanced it all depends on how much choice they have with your profile, but in general if you are invited for second time, you have good chances.

Also bei mir hat es gedauert:

Einige Wochen bis M nach DH weitergeleitet hat.

Wenige Tage danach (3-7) bis DH mich eingeladen hat.

Wenige Tage nach dem ersten Gespräch (3-5) bis DH mich das zweite Mal eingeladen hat.

Wenige Tage nach dem zweiten Gespräch (3-5) bis die (positive) Antwort kam.


--> Allerdings hatten sie jeweils gesagt, ich könne in 1-2 Wochen mit Antwort rechnen, ging aber dann schneller.
